Passerby

The Passerby Project is not attempting to bring these places up to speed with the surrounding environment but rather to establish a new way of life and take over this location. This project is to open a door for them and consider the best and worst, how not to turn it into a commodity if too many people want this kind of life, and, on the other hand, how to keep this place self-sustaining.

 

How can humans inhabit spaces that promote harmony with the natural world? What can we do as designers to achieve this and create architecture that avoids natural world destruction while benefiting our environmental impact?
